David's underwater photography has achieved numerous international awards and in this talk he'll tell you how he goes about capturing his images. Behind the scenes videos accompany the stories as he covers sharks, crocodiles, diving gannets and sea lions.

Sports images are very successful on the competition circuit & there’s no surprise why - they almost guarantee an image with impact. But it’s often difficult to capture powerful sports shots during competitions, there’s just too much going on in the background, so David has developed a mobile studio approach to capture the more iconic poses. 

In this talk he’ll share his approach to gaining access, technical challenges on the day and the equipment he uses.

Moving from simple to complex shoots, all illustrated with “Behind the Scenes” videos and stories, sports covered include; boxing, cross-country horse jumping, fencing & high board diving.
